The March 2019 Podcast Revival!

It’s been a while! Yes, that’s what I said on the last episode of The Triathlete Beat on August 7, 2018, but it’s now March 2019…and I’m fired up to put out more content this year!

Today’s episode is a quick and informal update on:

  • What’s kept me busy since the last time I podcasted

  • A slight update to the target audience of The Triathlete Beat podcast

Show Notes

What I’ve been up to

Since the last podcast episode in August, I’ve traveled around Europe, posted YouTube vlogs twice a week for an entire month (a super tough, but cool experience), enjoyed the holidays, and completed the Miami Half Marathon this past January 2019. I’m excited to post more content on both YouTube and here on the podcast!

Target audience update

Big news alert! When I first started the podcast about 1 year ago, I wanted it to be for triathletes of all levels. However, I’ve decided to focus both my YouTube channel and The Triathlete Beat podcast content to beginner triathletes! Beginner triathletes can be those who haven’t done a triathlon yet and are interested in the sport, or maybe have done a few races and want to start leveling up their game. They can also be those who want to get into swimming/bike/running in general.

Because I was a beginner triathlete almost 6 years ago, I have the most empathy for this subset of triathletes and felt that I could best relate to them. I don’t consider myself an expert or veteran triathlete, but I’ve completed around 20 triathlons (so far), gained a lot of experience in the sport, and want to share what I’ve learned with others out there.

I hope that by zoning in on this niche, I can begin to better grow a community in which we all can learn from each other, and enjoy this wonderful journey together.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be updating the trailer for this podcast and posting some new, exciting episodes. STAY TUNED!

As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read these Show Notes and/or listen to the podcast. To those who’ve been tuning in since the beginning: I sincerely appreciate you and your time. To those who are new here: WELCOME!!
