Anyone Can Do a Triathlon - What's Stopping You?
YOU are a lot closer to doing a triathlon than you think!
In this Episode of The Triathlete Beat: A Triathlon Podcast for Everyone, I go over some of the common thoughts (aka excuses) that prevent people from doing a triathlon, and offer some perspective to "unblock" those thoughts.
I also point out that sprint triathlons and sprint relay triathlons are an excellent way to get started in the sport. The swim/bike/run distances in a sprint triathlon are very manageable to complete, especially if you already exercise on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong though - even the sprint races require training multiple times a week to get your body adjusted. However, with patience and the drive to be consistent in training, you can surprise yourself with what you can do in the sport.

I personally like the Triradar plans as they are nicely laid out and easy to follow. I also use Hal Higdon's run training plans for their ease of use and his explanations of different workouts. Check out the plans, and see which ones work for you!
